We’ve created this section of the process description for guidance, assuming you were placing an order through the Openreach Siebel ordering portal. The way that you and your business place orders will look different based on how you’ve integrated any of this information into your own customer relationship management (CRM) systems.
If you’ve already placed your order with Openreach and have a question about how it is handled after we receive it, skip ahead to the Validate and Plan Order process step.
CPs can place an order by either using the Openreach portal or by designing their own order journey and submitting it via the Openreach Business to Business (B2B) gateway using XML. The steps of the order entry process are summarised in the process flow found in the appendix.
The interfaces for these steps will likely look different in your systems and your company may not show you all of the fields and data items that we refer to throughout this section.
