Openreach reports

There are several ways for CPs to get Openreach reports depending on your needs and this table shows the various ways you can get them.

Access method Notes
Reporting hub application Access to the app and the report categories are managed by the CP Admin. Once you have access, you can download your reports
Application Programming Interface(API) This requires support from your technical teams to work with us and set up the APIs to allow you to access these reports
Secure File Transfer Protocol (SFTP) This requires support from your technical teams to set up and a SFTP client installed either locally or on a server to access these reports

Reporting hub application

Accessing the Reporting hub app

  • Check your Active tools on your CP Portal Dashboard for the Reporting hub app
  • If that’s not visible, then you can ask your CP Admin to give you access to the app and to the relevant Report categories
  • You’ll now be able to see the app and launch it from your Dashboard

Using the Reporting hub application

  • You can search, filter and download your reports in a CSV file format
  •  If you have access to more than one Report category, you can change it using the dropdown option

Useful information when using the Reporting hub

  • Reports are refreshed daily and will be available from 08:00 to 09:00 UK time
  •  If reports have no data in them, then we do not display them
  • If you open the data using a spreadsheet, then make sure not to allow it to convert or change the data or user a text editor

Reporting hub CP Admin

If you’re a CP Admin, we have added help into the CP Admin pages that allow you to add, modify or remove functionality. Just follow the instructions on there to support your users.

We recommend that you regularly review if users still need access to the app or to the report categories that have been assigned.
