Customer Service Plan
You may place multiple GEA-FTTP provide orders at the same premises at the same time. Our system will not reject these orders so it is important that you avoid placing multiple orders if you don’t intend to do this.
There are certain exceptions to the handling of duplicate orders: where there are aspects of conflict between two orders (such as if you attempt to transfer an order, but there’s already a cease order on the same service) then the second order that generates the conflict will be rejected.
• If any open Standard Cease or Managed Cease order is found on the losing asset at the time of FTTP order placement, the FTTP migration order will be rejected.
Note: This is a deviation from SOGEA implementation where Openreach tries to align CCD of the SOGEA migration order with open Cease or Managed Cease future dated CCD whereas if SOGEA migration CCD was future dated than open Cease or Managed Cease, SOGEA migration order is rejected. This deviation was discussed and agreed with product line and Ofcom representatives due to the complexities involved in the FTTP L2C journey.
Here is a summary to compare the open order rules between SOGEA and FTTP migration journeys.
Scenario |
WLR/MPF--> SOGEA migration rules |
WLR (with/without SMPF) / MPF --> FTTP order placed with DN / MPF Id / PSTN ALI |
SMPF --> FTTP order placed with SMPF service Id |
Migration to SOGEA from WLR3 PSTN or MPF (with or without GEA-FTTC/SMPF) (cease placed on narrowband order alone) |

If a Standard Cease order placed on top of an existing open Managed Cease then, Standard Cease order will always be rejected. Migration order progresses. |
Aligned with SOGEA FTTP migration will progress |

If a WLR3/MPF to SOGEA migration order is placed on top of an existing open Managed Cease then SOGEA migration order will always be rejected. |
Aligned with SOGEA FTTP migration will be rejected. |
Aligned with SOGEA FTTP migration will be rejected. |
3 |
If a WLR3/MPF to SOGEA migration order is received with CRD later than existing open Standard Cease order CRD(i.e. open Cease CRD < SOGEA migration) then SOGEA migration order will be rejected. |
Aligned with SOGEA FTTP migration will be rejected. |
Aligned with SOGEA FTTP migration will be rejected. |
4 |
If a WLR3/MPF to SOGEA migration order is received with earlier or equal CRD than existing open Standard Cease order CRD then SOGEA migration order will be accepted. The CRD of the migration order in such cases will be aligned to the CCD of the cease order. |
Different implementation compared to SOGEA FTTP migration will be rejected. |

If a WLR3/MPF to SOGEA migration order is received with later CRD than existing open Standard Cease order CRD then SOGEA migration order will be rejected. |

If a WLR3/MPF to SOGEA migration order is received with earlier or equal CRD than existing Standard Cease order CRD then SOGEA migration order will be accepted. The CRD of the SOGEA migration order in such cases will be NOT aligned to the CCD of the Cease order. |
