This briefing is to inform CPs that the Uninhabitable Locations and Ruggedised ONT Pilot will begin 01 September 2024 for a period of 12 months, as well as outline key commercial details applicable to orders qualifying within the Pilot.
This briefing supports ACCN OR938.
The FTTP Uninhabitable Locations order journey has been developed to allow CPs to provide FTTP connectivity to non-traditional end points such as CCTV cameras, bus shelter signs, electric vehicle (EV) charging points, lift lines, utility monitoring, etc.
The Pilot aims to confirm the viability of the new Uninhabitable Locations journey with Ruggedised ONT as well as confirm estimated costs to inform launch commercials. The Pilot will start on 1 September 2024 and is anticipated to run for 12 months.
