This briefing is for all Communications Providers (CPs).

This briefing is to inform CPs about an extension to our Connect the Unconnected Special Offer.

We’re pleased to announce that we are extending our Connect the Unconnected Special Offer (“CTU”) until 31 March 2025.

CTU supports CPs in connecting end customers not taking fixed broadband due to financial constraints by waiving the connection fee for connections that meet our eligibility criteria. CTU was due to expire on 31/03/2024.

Terms of Special Offer Extension

The terms set out in briefing NGA010/21 shall apply to the CTU Special Offer extension with the following change:

• WLR connections are not eligible for CTU rebates as of 1 October 2023 following the WLR stop sell on 5 September 2023.

We are open to discussing with CPs the approach that they use for demonstrating compliance of orders with the eligibility criteria.
