This briefing is to inform CPs about a new order journey to enable end customers to migrate from SOTAP for Analogue back to WLR3 where there are specific issues with end customer equipment.
In order to support CPs in ensuring that they are able to migrate end customers off the PSTN safely,Openreach is launching a new order journey to enable end customers to migrate from SOTAP forAnalogue back to WLR3 where there are specific end customer equipment issues such as incompatibility with CP equipment.
Where, following a SOTAP for Analogue migration, the end customer performs a test on their telecare device(s) and finds that the telecare equipment is incompatible with the CP equipment, the CP may place a new order to migrate the service back to WLR3. The CP will prompt the end customer to check their telecare equipment is working following the migration to SOTAP for Analogue.
