This briefing is to inform PIA established CPs about an extension to the Underground Proof of Concept (PoC) that is currently being conducted on the Physical Infrastructure Access (PIA) product.

We’ve published a briefing for PIA established CPs advising them that the Underground PoC is being extended until 31 July 2025. This PoC tests a new process for managing Underground (UG) Self Provide (SPO) Network Adjustment (NA) orders. The extension will enable us to continue to test the PoC framework and allow more CPs to take part. This extension will commence on 1 February 2025 and run for 6 months finishing on 31 July 2025.

The PoC will only apply to Network Adjustment Orders for work that is completed and submitted to Openreach during this PoC period.
