GEN072/23 Introducing Full Fibre Infrastructure Build (FFIB) to the Connectorised Block Termination (CBT) only (and not to the Optical Network Termination (ONT)) and FFIB to Multi Dwelling Unit (MDU) delivery variants plus the introduction of FFIB Abortive Visit Charges (AVCs), FFIB revisit charges (when FTTP Advanced Install is launched), and re-appointment charge(s) and a cap on the timescales for claiming a FFIB first service connection rebate.

This briefing is for all Communications Providers (CPs).

This briefing is to inform all Customers about the introduction of FFIB to CBT and FFIB to MDU delivery variants to improve operational effectiveness leading to reduced mean time to deliver FFIB sites to Customer Ready for Service (CRFS). These variants will be added to (but will not replace) the existing standard FFIB offering on the basis of which Openreach will continue to build infrastructure up to the ONT.

This briefing also introduces customer at fault Abortive Visit Charges, revisit charge and re-appointment charge(s) for FFIB and a cap on the timescales by which a FFIB first service connection rebate can be claimed.
