This briefing is for all Communications Providers (CPs).

This briefing is to inform all CPs about a change to the LLU and Access Locate power price.

We regularly review the costs and prices for electricity to ensure we only pass through our average annual costs in our prices. The most recent review is complete which shows our expected costs for 2023/24 have reduced marginally.  As a result, we are announcing a 3% decrease in the current charge from £0.2540 to £0.2462 per kWh.  The new price will come into effect from 1 November 2023.

We will continue to review power costs.
