This briefing is to inform all CPs about four offers associated with the EAD 1Gb product.

Openreach is pleased to announce the following four offers:

Firstly, an increase to the existing EAD 1Gb connection discount in the Central London Area (CLA); from 1 February 2024 to the scheduled end of the offer on 31 March 2025 reducing the connection charge from £462 to £0. See ACCN OR977.

Secondly, the renewal of the EAD 1Gb Remote Upgrade Special Offer for the duration of FY 2025/26 allowing CPs to remotely upgrade 10Mb & 100Mb EAD to 1GB for free (without incurring the price list £100 regrade charge). See ACCN OR978.

Thirdly, the launch of a new EAD 1Gb connection discount in the Central London Area (CLA) access market (as defined in the WFTMR21), for the duration of 2025/26 with the connection charge set at £0. See ACCN OR979.

Fourthly, the launch of a new EAD 1Gb connection discount in the High-Network Reach (HNR) access market (as defined in the WFTMR21), for the duration of 2025/26 with the connection charge set at £727 for Local Area (LA) and Standard (STD) circuits and £827 for Extended Reach (ER) circuits.
