The Copper and Superfast Fibre Access forums represent a collection of industry bodies which give Openreach’s customers and other relevant stakeholders the opportunity to work with us to develop products and services that are fit for the future, as well as to improve existing products and services.
These pages contain information about the various forums as well as relevant archive material and presentations shared at the meetings by participants. Recent meeting collateral, including agendas, presentations, minutes of meetings, etc. is posted in the respective collaboration area for each forum.
All requests for changes to Copper and NGA products must be presented to the Copper & Fibre Products Commercial Group for Industry agreement prior to submission to Openreach.

The purpose of the Service Management Forum is to be the acknowledged industry body responsible for all Service Management matters, processes and policy of the Copper (WLR/LLU) and NGA portfolios.
The Test and Diagnostic Industry Forum is the acknowledged industry body responsible for all matters relating to Openreach's copper and fibre test and diagnostic platforms.
The IT Solution Development Forum is the industry acknowledged body responsible for the development of straightforward, fit for purpose information technology solutions which enable our customers to easily consume Copper (WLR/LLU) and NGA products.
The Technical Communication Forum is the industry acknowledged source of technical information and will outline the key features of committed changes to help our customers easily consume Copper (WLR/LLU) and NGA products.
The Infrastructure Services Forum (ISF) takes place to ensure that Openreach customers have the opportunity to be informed and feedback on the latest news about developments and proposals for Exchange based Infrastructure related products (PoPs and Tie Cables) plus any specific market development initiatives. It also provides a platform to discuss and optimise any future opportunities and raise relevant commercial concerns which affect industry either as a whole or significant segments within the market.
