Are you refurbishing or extending an existing building? Or are you building a brand new site? If so, you may need to move a drop wire or alter our Openreach network from an overhead position to an underground position, or extend your wiring. These are just a few simple examples of Network Solution services that we can help you with.

We could also work with you on complex Network Solutions beyond the Openreach demarcation point - known as the Network Termination Point (NTP). In this scenario we could install and configure your end customers’ equipment or deliver new cabling and duct to their specific requirements.

Here’s a list of the type of engineering tasks we’re able to deliver on your behalf:

  • Complex and bespoke network solutions including Cat.5/6 cabling, WiFi installations, CCTV networks
  • Existing network rearrangement
  • Ducts, cabling and wiring for refurbishments or redevelopments
  • Repositioning of distribution points, drop wires, poles and internal distribution connection boxes, underground ducting or cables
  • Installation of equipment e.g. switches, IPBX, routers etc.
  • Installation and optimisation of in-home connections (beyond the NTE)
  • Out of hours migration work
  • Connectivity for large events and to remote locations
  • Housing stock refurbishment programmes particularly the change of overhead infrastructure to cope with things like External Wall Insulation (EWI)
  • On-site network disaster recovery

If we're working to support an existing provide order, you can get updates on the order by contacting the service management centre on 0800 783 3333, Option 3, Option 1. The team are open Monday – Friday 0800:-19:30, Saturdays 08:00-18:00 and Sundays 08:00 – 13:00. The Service Management Centre is best placed to help you with any orders where you have first placed a provision order and Openreach engineers have determined that a bespoke solution must be agreed to provide your customer service. (An example of this might be when your customer would like us to install on the 6th floor but this would fall outside of the product description).Click here for further details.

The team are open Monday - Friday 08:00-17:00 or alternatively you can place your order via our contact us form.

Please note, this team are best placed to help you with infrastructure solutions orders that you have placed (perhaps on behalf of your customer) but that do not relate to existing provision orders and example of this might be that a business customer of yours is refurbishing and would like Openreach equipment relocating to enable the refurbishment.
