Network Academy

Openreach Network Academy

The Network Academy offers tailored chargeable training events hosted at the Network Demonstration Centre in Stansted (plus other locations on request).

Just one day with us could give your people the knowledge they need to answer your customer's questions and better manage expectations should a fault or issue occur.  The information provided could also help you improve customer facing processes.

The Network Demonstration Centre is home to a working model of our network - located in a live exchange building.  It invites your  team to explore the network all the way from the exchange to the customer's premises - including poles, footway boxes and street cabinets - without even stepping outside the building.

Your team could gain:

  • a better understanding of how our network is built and the way it works
  • Enhanced knowledge of the services delivered over our network
  • Hands-on experience of what causes network faults and how they are detected

We can offer sessions on any part of the network including:

  • An overview of Copper and Fibre networks
  • WLR/Copper
  • Ultrafast Fibre Access
  • Superfast Fibre Access
  • DSL/Broadband
  • Line Testing
  • An overview of Ethernet

If you have specific requirements, we can tailor events to your specific requirements.  We can also develop new modules to focus on the experience and knowledge your people need.

Charges are based on Advisory Services rates with a typical standard Network Academy event costing less than £6500.00 for 25 people.
