WLR3 - Which route is best for you?

Bureau service - Third Party Integrator (TPI)

Here's what you will need to take into consideration

  • What WLR3 products, value adds and functionality do you require?
  • Ensure your potential TPI is able to fulfil your requirements
  • What volume of orders do you anticipate placing? The larger the number, the better the price you should be able to negotiate
  • Does the contract term seem reasonable? Don’t tie yourself into a long term contract from the outset, unless you are offered a worthwhile financial incentive
  • What level of relationship do they have with Openreach?
  • Are their solutions proven? Can they provide references or case studies?
  • Does the proposed solution fully implement our B2B gateway specifications?
  • Does the proposed solution interoperate with our live testing and ramp up environments?
  • Is the security of the proposed solution aligned with (and will it work with) EMP security?
  • Does the proposed solution provide an intuitive, user friendly interface to the EMP? A 'must' in order to minimise training requirements
  • Will the proposed solution integrate with your billing system and other back office systems, as required?
  • What performance/availability guarantees are provided?
  • What level of project management support is provided? For example, migration from WLR2
  • How long will it take to get up and running?
  • Will they be around tomorrow? Check they’re financially stable.

What you'll need to do

After making all the necessary sanity and health checks, simply choose the WLR3 analogue product features and service wrap that’s right for you, agree a migration plan from WLR2, agree commercial terms, sign up and start ordering your lines. The TPI should take care of everything else, leaving you free to concentrate on business instead of process.
