WLR3 R15x & RTCC

WLR3 Route to 15x Services for PSTN, ISDN30, ISDN2 and Route to Credit Control for WLR3 PSTN Information

Openreach have developed enhanced capabilities for the Route to 15x and Route to Credit Control product features.

updated: 13/03/2009

Route to 150, 151, 152, 154 (also known by the generic term “Route to 15x”) allows CP Customers to directly receive calls made by End Users to pre-defined “customer service” numbers on CP managed lines.

The CP nominates a freephone number to be associated with each 15x number. They can then direct the freephone number to route to their customer services teams. CPs may use the same freephone number against multiple 15x numbers. This is a chargeable service.

Prior to this product enhancement, if a WLR3 CP opts in to the R15x product, all 15x calls from their PSTN, ISDN30 & ISDN2 customers will be forwarded to the CPs nominated freephone number(s).

If the CP has opted out of the R15x product – all 15x calls from all product will be routed to a generic announcement –

“Sorry, this number cannot be used on this line. To contact the support centre of your telephone service provider; please dial the number supplied in your documentation”

With the deployment of MR1018, CPs may take advantage of enhanced flexibility by routing 15x calls by Retailer and also by WLR3 product type (PSTN, ISDN30 & ISDN2).

Additional enhancements will also be available for the WLR3 PSTN product and the Route to Credit Control (RTCC) feature to allow routing at the Retailer level.

Note: This product cannot be invoked on a single line/channel basis – for example if R15x is opted in for RID 1 / PSTN, all RID1 / PSTN lines will be routed to the nominated freephone number.
