Common Portfolio Products

Common Portfolio Products represent a variety of services which are applicable across the Openreach portfolio i.e. WLR, LLU and Ethernet products.

This portfolio of services includes Excess Construction Charges, Time Related Charges and Non-Standard Lines.

Excess Construction Charges and Time Related Charges are governed and ordered under the existing product contracts for WLR, LLU and Ethernet; whilst Non-Standard Lines are ordered under the Common Portfolio Products contract as set out in the documents below.

Excess Construction Charges

Excess Construction Charges (ECCs) are used in order to make it possible to extend the amount of engineering or construction that is carried out to deliver a particular service over and above the standard specification, e.g. a greater distance.

Time Related Charges

Time Related Charges (TRCs) enable additional time to be spent by Openreach engineers repairing faults, where this work is not covered under the terms of the Openreach service. They also enable provision or rearrangment of services including customer owned wiring or equipment where standard Openreach charges are not available.

Non-Standard Lines

These are Special Provisions of Openreach lines in circumstances such as Non Served Premises (NSP), Ships in Dock and Short Duration Lines where the standard lines products would not be appropriate.

Please see the CPP Product Handbook and other documentation below for further information.
