Update on inter-working for WLR3 ISDN2.

Building on the functionality already available via the Equivalence Management Platform (EMP) for WLR3 Analogue, Openreach intends to offer those Communications Providers (CPs) and Third Party Integrators (TPIs) who registered their interest in WLR3 ISDN2 an opportunity to work closely with Openreach in the run up to a full product launch later this year.

Openreach was pleased with the positive response to our invitation  for CPs and TPIs to register interest in WLR3 ISDN2 (Ref: WLR029/08 issued 1st  April 2008) and we are therefore planning to host a web-cast on 15th May 2008 to give CPs and TPIs more detail on how inter-working will operate. Invitations to register for the web-cast will follow shortly.

The introduction of a dedicated inter-working period prior to full product launch was an important lesson learnt from launching WLR3 Analogue.   This period will give Openreach and CPs/TPIs the chance to verify what is on offer (‘Day 1’) and the benefits that WLR3 ISDN2 will offer in comparison to WLR2.
