Openreach has published its proposal for a Voice over Next Generation Access Product (VoNGA) and is requesting input from Communications Providers (CPs) on the proposed specification of this product over an FTTP network within the UK.
Openreach has published a Product Proposal for VoNGA. The document outlines the Openreach technical and commercial model for the product and can be viewed/downloaded from the Openreach website.
The Product Proposal document has been published to seek feedback from CPs on the service features, network interfaces and general commercial considerations for the product proposed for a first implementation on FTTP infrastructure at geographical area(s) within the UK. This product proposal covers voice over Fibre to the Premises (FTTP) only.
The Product Proposal document also includes an outline of how Openreach wishes to collaborate with its customers to define the product. As part of this consultation process, if you wish to hold bi-lateral discussions with Openreach, please contact your Sales and Relationship Manager (SRM) to arrange this.
Openreach invites responses and any further comments or views on this initial Product Proposal document by 7th August 2009 . Responses should be submitted to your Sales and Relationship Manager (SRM) or via Lisa Harrison (lisa.3.harrison@openreach.co.uk).
