Further to briefing NGA 004/10 dated 3rd March 2010 this briefing provides an update on the Department of Enterprise, Trade and Investment (DETI) Next Generation Broadband Demand Stimulation White Label marketing campaign.  This includes outdoor, local press and direct mail targeting the businesses which are in scope/covered by the NGB project prior to their ready for service date. Creatives and other marketing materials are now available from the Openreach webpages for Communication Providers to download.

Communication Providers (CPs) who are members of the FTTC/P Triallists Working Group (TWG) will also find a list of the 299 Northern Ireland NGB FTTC / VDSL cabinets including post code locations in the Network section of the FTTC Trial – documentation page in the FTTC/FTTP secure area of the Openreach website.   These cabinets will be ready for service on the 30th April 2010.

The Faster Broadband Northern Ireland (NI) web site provides businesses with more information.  An availability checker is also available to help Northern Ireland businesses check whether their premises will be impacted, what the minimum speed will be and when service will be available. Businesses which are in scope and interested in faster Broadband are advised to contact their Service Provider.
