This briefing advises Communications Providers of a new LLU Plan and Build facility and is for all LLU CPs.

This briefing is to advise Communications Providers that Openreach is making available with effect from 12th May 2008 a new LLU Comingling Shared Point Of Presence facility (hereafter referred to as Shared POP) which is designed to enable an existing POP to be available for use by up to four different Communications Providers under a Joint and Several licence. Each of the Communications Providers under the Joint and Several licence will be equally liable for the obligations within the Revised Access Network Facilities Agreement.

The CP that held the original licence will be billed for all ongoing POP charges as well as for an administration fee of £220.00 that will be raised to cover the setting up of the shared POP arrangement.
