Frames Selectable Provisioning Dates (FSPD) update on development progress 

This briefing provides further information regarding the LLU product development known as Frames Selectable Provisioning Dates (FSPD) detailed in previous briefing LLU096/07 

When launched, this product will enable CPs to select a delivery day from a range of dates offered by Openreach using a new dialogue service and in some instances, subject to available resource, dates offered will be less than the standard lead-time.

Roll-out of Field Optimisation Suit (FOS), a critical part of FSPD, has now been completed in readiness for launch of this product in June 2008

To allow performance testing of FOS by Openreach the EMP portal access has been enabled for the FSPD dialogue service. CPs are requested not to use the dialogue service until the formal launch date.

Further briefings will be issued to keep CP informed of progress and to confirm the launch date as soon as testing is completed.
