Benefits of forecasting
It is important for Openreach to gather all known forecast information in order to provide service promptly and efficiently. Forecast criteria can be found in Section 5 of the Forecasting Manual.
The Ethernet team would like to ask all customers to share forecast information to the best of their ability so that Openreach has the best opportunity to meet your requirements. The more accurate the information you can supply against the forecast criteria the better. If you do not have all the details please supply the information you have.
By working together to produce accurate forecasts, Openreach can better plan provision to you and respond more effectively to your orders. Your Business Manager will support you in completion of forecast information if required.
If a forecast is not provided
If a forecast is not provided, Openreach may suspend SLG payments. You can find reference to this in the forecast schedule of contracts for BES WES ONBS, Street Access and Broadcast Access.
Openreach would therefore strongly encourage all customers to provide a forecast.
