GEN050/10Openreach Service Harmonisation customer awareness survey
16/03/2010For Action
This briefing on Service harmonisation Awareness is for all Communications Providers.

Openreach has issued a series of updates regarding Service Harmonisation

Openreach would like to invite customers to participate in a short survey regarding Service Harmonisation. The survey can be found here and will remain open until Tuesday 23rd March 2010.

Service Harmonisation is a phased programme spread over EMP Releases 1200, 1300, 1306 (& potentially 1400) which will simplify WLR, GEA-FTTC, GEA-FTTP and LLU service levels.

Service Harmonisation has been developed in collaboration with Communications Providers (CPs) since April 2008. Our customers told us they were happy with the greater flexibility, simplification between LLU and WLR, better service levels and enhanced functionalities that could be offered through harmonisation.

The survey results will help Openreach understand if further information is required to help you get the most from this important change. If there are others within your organisation also interested in Service Harmonisation, please make sure they are aware of this briefing.

Details regarding Service Harmonisation and the changes taking place can be found here on the Openreach website

The dedicated Service Harmonisation page includes

  • Service Harmonisation overview
  • Service Harmonisation CP consumption
  • Service maintenance and level mapping
