Update on migration of end users from Blunsdon to Haydon Wick exchange

This is an update on progress with the above project as a follow up to General Briefings GEN35/07 issued on 15/11/2007, GEN006/07 issued on 25/04/2007 and GEN014/07 issued on 03/07/2007 regarding the opening of Haydon Wick exchange in the Swindon area and the migration of end users from Blunsdon to Haydon Wick exchange.

We have successfully migrated a number of end users from Blunsdon to Haydon Wick. However, for technical reasons it has become necessary to temporarily suspend the migration process for certain PCPs in the plan. Revised migration dates for these PCPs will be agreed directly with the relevant Communications Providers.

It is the responsibility of Communications Providers to confirm details of the migration process and individual circuit migration dates to their customers when available. Openreach is unable to confirm migration dates to end users.

Whilst every effort is taken to keep to the published migration schedule, it should be understood that the plan remains subject to change if unforeseen engineering problems are encountered. In this instance, Openreach reserves the right to change the plan without advanced notification.
