Generic Ethernet Access and Fibre IRS Pricing Bi-Lateral Meeting Reminder
updated: 22/04/2008This briefing on Generic Ethernet Access (GEA) and Fibre IRS is for all Communications Providers.
Openreach has issued a bi-lateral meeting invitation to all Communications Providers to enable them to give feedback on the GEA and Fibre IRS indicative prices
Openreach published indicative prices for Generic Ethernet Access and Fibre IRS in November (briefing GEN033/07) and January (briefing GEN002/08) respectively. At the same time, Openreach extended an invitation to hold bi-lateral meetings with all Communications Providers (CPs) to enable them to provide feedback on the indicative prices, which will be taken into account by Openreach when setting its launch prices for the products. Further information and reminders were made at the Openreach Future Access Forum (OFAF).
Whilst some bilateral discussions have been held, all CPs are reminded that the bi-lateral meeting invitation is still open until the end of this month. Any CP wishing to take up this opportunity should contact their CBM as soon as possible to arrange a meeting.
Openreach aims to publish launch prices for GEA and Fibre IRS at the end of May 2008 following this period of consultation.
