Advance POP Order (APO) survey backlog
updated: 29/01/2010This briefing is applicable to LLU and Ethernet Communications Providers and relates to the current APO survey backlog.
APO survey backlog
Openreach wishes to make all Communications Providers (CPs) aware of the current issues with APO survey requests and the steps being taken to resolve the issue.
Openreach has received a significant increase in the volume of APO survey requests over the last few months, leading to a backlog in surveys and subsequent responses back to CPs.
An agreed action plan is now in place with Openreach suppliers to clear the current backlog of orders by the end of March 2010.
CPs are reminded that as part of the APO process, informal forecasts are required to be submitted via the Sales and Relationship Manager (SRM) as far in advance as possible to facilitate Openreach in agreeing resourcing levels and requirements with suppliers.
