The National Notice Handling Centre (NNHC) in Stoke-on-Trent can tell you approximately where Openreach equipment is located and any action that may be required before you start your excavation. The Centre deals with all enquiries about the location of underground and overground plant and equipment.

The Maps by email or MBE service provides password-controlled internet access to Openreach plant location maps held on a central web site. Once you have found the plan you are looking for, you can download it to your PC for printing. There's no need to wait for a faxed or postal reply.
Protecting our network
We offer an 'on site service' providing free professional guidance and assistance prior to excavation works. This may include where possible and if necessary a 'locate and mark' of the position of Openreach apparatus within your noticed work area and provide advice on how you can avoid damaging the Openreach Network during your works.
