Network Rearrangements and Customer Owned Wiring
Network Rearrangement Services enable End-Users, including members of the public, to request rearrangements of Openreach network apparatus such as poles, cabinets, cables or jointing chambers, from the exchange-side of BT’s telephone exchanges up to and including the Network Termination Point at End-User premises.

End users may also make requests for Customer-Owned Wiring, which is wiring located on an End-User’s premises beyond the Network Termination Point. This includes, for examples, line extensions within a home or business.
This process does not apply to Highway Authorities and large scale developers who continue to use existing processes with the relevant departments in Openreach.
Both Communication Providers and end users can contact Openreach with new requests for Network Rearrangement Services and Customer Owned Wiring via the following channel:
- Go to www.openreach.co.uk
- Click ‘Contact Us’ at the top of the screen
- Select the third option ‘I would like to remove or relocate external Openreach network equipment(e.g. a pole or cabinet)’
- Click [Next]
- Complete the details on the form as instructed
The prices used for Customer-Owned Wiring will be based on Time Related Charges as outlined in the Pricing section found at: http://www.openreach.co.uk/orpg/pricing/serviceproducts.do
