Openreach would recommend CPs consult with Openreach on GEA Handover connectivity planning as early as possible and before placing GEA Cablelink orders, to allow for orders to be planned, order entry timeframes to be agreed and the work required to be planned. For information on submitting GEA Handover Connectivity Orders please see the GEA Cablelink E2E Process Manual. You will need a portal log-in to access this document, to request access.

Please note all GEA Cablelinks must terminate on the Openreach Access Locate product. Please see the Access Locate product page for further information.

Notes :

  1. CPs who wish to order the GEA FTTC product would be expected to participate in a trial beforehand to ensure all required customer establishment criteria have been met.
  2. Any changes to the indicative ready for service dates shown on the microsite will be communicated as soon as reasonably practicable
