This briefing on GEA-Fibre to the Premises (FTTP) on Demand is for all Communications Providers.Further to briefing NGA031/12 published on 4 December 2012, we are pleased to announce the pricing for FTTP on Demand Pilot Phase 2, which will begin on 1 March 2013 and consist of a maximum of 100 orders.
FTTP on Demand offers 'ultra-fast' downstream speeds of up to 330Mbit/s and upstream speeds of up to 30Mbit/s and will be available to premises served by GEA-FTTC enabled cabinets.
FTTP on Demand is expected to be of most interest to small and medium sized businesses who may wish to take advantage of the faster speeds available.
FTTP on Demand is planned for launch in Spring 2013 following Pilot Phase 2. Full terms and conditions, including pricing and contract terms will be released closer to launch.

The Pilot will take place in the following exchange areas:
CPs will be able to place orders between 1 March and 26 April 2013. Orders will be processed in the order they are received, up to a maximum of 100 orders. All orders are subject to survey. The Pilot Phase 2 will test the new automated order processes for FTTP on Demand delivered in EMP R2100.
