This brief is to inform Communication Providers of a price review of Time Related Charges, NTE Shifts, Special Fault Investigation, Short Duration Line charges and Engineering ServicesOpenreach has reviewed prices across its portfolio of products that use field engineering activity. These products include Time Related Charges, NTE Shifts, Special Fault Investigation, Short Duration Line charges and Engineering Services.
Openreach recognises that the UK telecoms market is dynamic and fast changing, consequently our customers are expecting Openreach to offer a comprehensive range of services in an efficient manner and to a high quality.
The review has been prompted in order to meet requirements for new services associated with engineering activity whilst at the same time delivering consistency across the portfolio.
The overall impact of the price changes is broadly neutral to customers.
The price changes will be implemented on 1 April 2011.
