LLU008/12 LLU provision Risk Assessment Method Statements (RAMS)

This briefing is for LLU Communications Providers.

The purpose of this briefing is to outline the process for customers to request Risk Assessment Method Statements for LLU orders.

This information applies to singleton requests only. For bulk requests - i.e. three or more requests - please contact your Sales and Relationship Manager to discuss requirements.

Risk Assessment Method Statements (RAMS) can be requested by sending an email to the Openreach CMC at address lluorder@openreach.co.uk. The email must include the following information:

• "RAMS" in the subject field
• Siebel order reference
• required time and date
• type of method statement required
• site contact details
• reply email address
• confirmation that TRCs are accepted.

The request will be passed to the appropriate Openreach Field Manager who will either email the completed generic document through to the contact provided or arrange a site visit. For site specific requests, appointment time slots are available on a reasonable endeavours basis. The Field Manager will agree a date with the site contact and will ensure the engineer(s) are in possession of documentation appropriate to the request on the day of the appointment.

All method statements will be charged at TRC rates which can be found via the Service Products pricing section:
