GEN036/12 Generic bill back up user guide to version 6

This briefing on the generic billing user guide is for all Communications Providers.

The purpose of this brief is to advise an update to the generic billing user guide to version 6.

Please find highlighted below changes to the Generic bill backup (GBBU) user guide for Openreach products, which are now reflected in revised version 6.0 available by clicking on Generic bill backup guide.

Changes from the previous version are listed in the Change Log on pages 3 and 4 of the guide. Any changes that you need to apply to your own system/s to accommodate should be made before June 2012 invoices as the changes will start to be reflected from this date (if you take those products).

Service Based Solutions (SBS) is a service from Openreach launched on 18 March 2012; there will be further update to the GBBU user guide in R2000 (June 2012) to accommodate any additional functionality deployed.
