ETH025/12 Launch of TDM Access Bearer (TAB) and TDM Backhaul Bearer (TBB) Services

This briefing on TAB and TBB Services is for all Ethernet Communications Providers.

Openreach is announcing the intention to launch the TDM Access Bearer and TDM Backhaul Bearer products on 11th June 2012.

Openreach are pleased to announce the planned launch of TDM Access Bearer and TDM Backhaul Bearer products.

The Openreach TAB and TBB services are high speed point to point services supporting native TDM transport. TAB delivers a 2.5Gbt bearer configured to present a customer interface at either STM1, STM4 or STM16. TBB offers bandwidths of 2.5Gbt (STM16) and 10Gbt (STM64).

Product descriptions and business process documents are available to review under the Ethernet Services section of the website.

In addition, Suppliers’ Information Note (SIN) 508 for TAB and 510 for TBB will shortly be available from www.sinet.bt.com.

Contract

This briefing notifies with 28 days notice amendments to the Conditions and Schedules 1, 2 and 4 of the Connectivity Services contract. These amendments are available from the Connectivity Services contract webpage.

The notified contract changes will be effective from 12^th June 2012.

Pricing

Pricing information for this new product has been notified on 14^th May 2012 via ACCN OR286. This will be available from the Price Notifications area of the Openreach website (Prices will be effective from 12^th June 2012.

Pricing for the TAB and TBB products will be available upon application to your Sales and Relationship Manager (SRM).
