This briefing on GEA IL2 assurance is for GEA Communications Providers.

The purpose of this brief is to announce IL2 assurance for GEA products.

Openreach is pleased to announce that Generic Ethernet Access (GEA-Cablelink), Generic Ethernet Access over Fibre to the Cabinet (GEA-FTTC) and Generic Ethernet Access over Fibre to the Premises (GEA-FTTP) products have been approved to the CESG - Assured Service (Telecoms) Scheme - Impact Level 2-2-4.

Communications-Electronics Security Group (CESG) is the UK Government's National Technical Authority for Information Assurance (IA).
