Openreach has a published Roadmap linked to the evolution of the underlying local access and backhaul networks, and a new requirements process - we remain receptive to customer requests - based on the proven business requirements of our customers.
The Roadmap is updated through discussion with Communications Providers via Industry forums. Communications Providers seeking new or changed products from Openreach are strongly encouraged to raise proposals via the Industry forums, details of the relevant forums are available via your Sales & Relationship Manager.
For Openreach contracted Communications Providers, and their nominated Statement of Requirements (SOR) leads, submission of new SORs and progression of them can be seen and managed via the SOR management tool.
We create a new version of each product interface when we deploy a major EMP release. We've now given you the option to consume new changes or take advantage of the improvements to existing functionality, without necessarily having to upgrade to a new version of the interface.
