On site help

Once you have started work, an Openreach newSite representative will visit your site on a regular basis and become your dedicated point of contact with Openreach; providing technical advice relating to the installation of the Openreach telecommunications network.

For example, they will be able to advise on the best routes to take on site and arrange for the installation of main cable routes.

As the role of the newSite representative is to advise you and make sure every thing goes to plan, it is important that you meet early on.

If, during the course of the development, the original plans are changed, please give your Openreach newSite representative plenty of notice so that other activities can be planned accordingly.

Please note - once a designed layout of the Openreach infrastructure has been provided, all subsequent requests for revisions or amendments will be charged for.

Your Openreach newSite representative will arrange for delivery of the Openreach materials your workforce need, liaising directly with your site manager if necessary.

If you do not know the name of your local Openreach newSite representative, see new development contacts for details.
